In the Ryazan region, at least 15 freight cars derailed due to “intervention by outsiders,” and two people were injured. This was reported by the press service of the Western Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia in “In contact with”.
“On the morning of November 11, a message was received that 15 freight train cars had derailed on the section between Rybnoye and 179 km stations in the Ryazan region. The injured driver and assistant driver are provided with medical assistance. The Eastern Investigation Department for Transport of the Western Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation organized a pre-investigation check on this fact,” the message says.
The governor of the region, Pavel Malkov, also commented on the emergency in his telegram channels. “Today at 7:12 am a message was received regarding the derailment of freight cars with mineral fertilizers at the Dyagilevo station in the city of Ryazan. As a result of the incident, 19 cars derailed at the station. There is no traffic delay, the branch is a dead end. I instructed regional authorities to provide all necessary assistance to Russian Railways to eliminate the consequences of the incident,” wrote the head of the Ryazan region.
In May, in Crimea, not far from Simferopol, five wagons loaded with grain derailed on a stretch in Crimea due to “intervention by outsiders.”
