On Friday, the Palestinian Red Crescent Ambulance announced that one person was killed and 20 others were injured as a result of Israeli snipers shooting at Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza on the thirty-fifth day of the war.
The Red Crescent Ambulance reported that “occupation snipers targeted Al-Quds Hospital and opened fire directly on those in the building, killing one person and wounding 20 people, including two in critical condition.”
Ministry of Health spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra said, “The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the thirty-fifth day rose to 11,078 martyrs, including 4,506 children, 3,027 women, and 678 elderly people, and 27,490 citizens were injured with various injuries.”
Al-Qudra added, “We received 2,700 reports of missing persons, including 1,500 children still under the rubble.”
He continued, “Israeli violations once morest the health system led to the killing of 198 health personnel, the destruction of 53 ambulances, the targeting of 135 health institutions, and the removal of 21 hospitals and 47 primary care health centers from service.”
He also confirmed that Israeli forces “arrested two ambulance drivers during their return from the south of the Gaza Strip to its north, despite coordination with the International Committee of the Red Cross.”
The Minister of Health of the Palestinian Authority, Mai Al-Kaila, considered that “what is happening now once morest hospitals is a decision to kill those in them, as the wounded are dying due to the exhaustion of fuel and medical consumables,” calling on the world “to stop the massacres once morest hospitals.”
Hamas launched an attack inside Israeli territory, resulting in more than 1,400 deaths, most of them civilians, according to the Israeli authorities.
The deaths occurred in Gaza as a result of the violent Israeli bombing campaign that followed the attack, causing massive destruction and causing the displacement of hundreds of thousands of people.
