“Here, it is a box structure, calculated by our design office, and we are using 5 mm sheet metal”explains Gérard Dejardin, workshop manager. “We are carrying out a dry assembly today in order to define a method for the day of assembly in Namur. Afterwards, we will dismantle the structure once more in order to organize transport by truck. It will take another three to four days for the final installation.”
After three months of work in the workshop, Bout-a-tot will soon leave Liège to join the Walloon capital. The work cost 134,000 euros, financed mainly by the City of Namur. The region contributed 40,000 euros.
