The causes of this disease are the rapid consumption of energy-rich foods, a sedentary lifestyle, and increasing rates of obesity. “People with diabetes are getting younger and younger, which is really a wake-up call,” the Health Minister said.

Dr. Phan Hoang Hiep, director of the Central Endocrine Hospital, said that if detected early and well controlled blood sugar and blood pressure, complications of diabetes can be reduced by 30 to 80 percent. If not treated quickly, it can lead to many dangerous complications that can lead to disability and death. So things like high blood pressure, dyslipidemia, overweight and obesity, lack of physical activity, and excessive energy diets; Early risk factors for diabetes, such as abuse of alcohol, beer, and cigarettes, must be recognized.

In order to prevent disease, it is necessary to maintain a healthy lifestyle and diet appropriately, exercise daily, minimize risk factors, and apply early medical measures to eliminate them early. Perform a blood sugar test every year to detect diseases and pre-diabetes early.
