As part of its transition strategy, TotalEnergies has decided to help its 35,000 employees in France to optimize their energy consumption or to move towards more sustainable mobility in their daily lives by offering them an envelope of 2,000 euros.
“There is a lot of pride in this agreement!” Isabelle Patrier, France director of TotalEnergies, signed a historic agreement with the company’s union organizations. They unanimously signed a collective agreement to support employees in their energy transition, whether for their mobility or for their housing. “The unions and we ourselves are proud to sign it,” underlines the director of France TotalEnergies.
An offer available for five years
The 35,000 employees will be able to benefit from an individual envelope of 2,000 euros allowing, for example, to carry out energy work at their home or to buy a vehicle, an electric bicycle in order to adopt greener mobility. It will even be possible to buy household appliances with better consumption. In short, the company’s employees will have a choice.
The offer is reserved for employees who have more than 18 months of seniority within the company and must present an invoice to be reimbursed. The agreement will be applicable from January 1, 2024 for a period of five years. “We want to respect the wishes of France in terms of ecological transition. And we want to encourage our employees to follow this trajectory,” concludes Isabelle Patrier.
