Liverpool goalkeeper from 2005 to 2014, Pepe Reina will have marked the history of Liverpool. Still active, the Spaniard sees himself returning to Anfield as a coach.
“Maybe this will be my last season. Let’s enjoy this year and then we’ll talk about it. As long as I can be useful to the club, I will be there,” said the 41-year-old goalkeeper, still under contract with Villarreal. Pepe Reina then talked about his post-career and he already has a very clear idea.
“It’s about preparing myself for life after playing. Maybe one day I will come back to Anfield as a manager. Football is what I love the most,” he said in an interview with The Athletic.
