The management of Al-Fateh Club officially addressed its counterpart in Al-Ahly regarding the transfer method for international Firas Al-Braikan following his contract was unilaterally terminated.
According to official sources who spoke to Al-Riyadiya, Al-Fatehawi believes that Al-Ahly negotiated with Al-Braikan while his contract was in effect, and that there was money transferred to the player before his contract was officially terminated, and that communications also occurred between the two parties without a legal basis. The same sources confirmed that the Al-Fateh administration sent two official letters to the Al-Ahly administration, and did not respond to them at all, at a time when the Al-Fatehists demanded that they sit at a dialogue table to resolve the issue amicably before escalating it to the legal sports authorities, supported by evidence from the Al-Fateh point of view.
For its part, Al-Riyadiya requested a comment from the Al-Fateh administration, but they simply said: “No comment.”
In addition, the same sources explained that Al-Ahly’s management received the letter, and refused to comment on the matter in its response to Al-Riyadiah.
