Electronic Arts and CONMEBOL officially released this Tuesday (7) some details regarding the 2024 Copa eLibertadores, a South American EA Sports FC 24 competition that will offer a vast prize pool and other advantages for the winners.
The tournament finals will be played on March 17th and will have a prize pool of US$100,000, around R$500,000 at the current price. Registration will be open until December 8th for eligible South American residents and can be made in this link.
Classification Phase I
According to EA and CONMEBOL, the first phase of the online qualifiers will be held on December 9th and 10th and will consist of a single elimination bracket that will classify the 64 best players for Phase II of the competition.
It is worth noting that all players who qualified for the EA Sports FC Pro Open Regional Qualifiers are not eligible to participate in this first qualifying phase of the 2024 Copa eLibertadores.
Classification Phase II
Between February 10th and 11th, the second round of online qualifiers will be held. This stage will begin with a group stage in the Swiss format with the best from Phase I, along with the 256 best placed in the region in October’s FC Pro Open Ladder.
In addition, players with a contract with a South American football club affiliated with CONMEBOL Member Federations will also participate. The stage will then move to a double elimination bracket until the top 16 remain.

Finals
Finally, following the 16 players qualify in Phase II, they will advance to the finals, with the grand final to be held in person and broadcast live on Twitch and YouTube, with a program produced by LVP (MEDIAPRO Group).
