Living in small apartments requires smart solutions, both for storage and to ensure comfortable circulation spaces and well-being. Not surprisingly, the kitchen hallway has been quite successful.
The environment, almost always integrated, still wins points in terms of functionality and practicality. And with creative ideas, the kitchen, even though small, becomes the protagonist of the home. Check out nine projects with smart solutions below and get inspired!
The kitchen-hallway was the solution found by the firm Todos Arquitetura to take advantage of the social area of this 37 m² apartment. The joinery with drawers and shelves also serves the laundry room and hides the washing machine in the last door.
Functional and contemporary, the kitchen-hall designed by the architect Marilia Veiga gains breadth in the combination of the light color palette with the good entry of natural light. The joinery is from Ornare.
In the Estúdio Tupi project, the wall that divided the kitchen and living room was transformed into a counter, like a portico, providing complete visual permeability in relation to the other environments, in addition to allowing the entry of natural lighting.
Its countertops are made of basalt and the blue lacquer joinery contrasts with the natural materials used.
The architect’s kitchen Renato Mendonça It is made up of white cabinets with beaded paneling doors. To complement the environment planned by Criee, Renato chose light coverings, such as the pink porcelain floor with stone texture and the white brick wall. Furthermore, he invested in direct lighting with spots and a beaded wooden ceiling, all to bring a feeling of lightness to the space.
There is no shortage of storage spaces in the kitchen designed by the architect Juliana Sica. In addition to the cabinets and drawers, a support shelf was installed at the entrance to the room.
The mirrored doors of the upper compartments add extra charm to the decor. The joinery is from Ornare.
The kitchen designed by the architect Ana Weege It is special in each element. The handcrafted joinery is natural American oak and the exotic stone in the backsplash is Calacatta Viola. Did you like the result?
Fully integrated into the living room and with a “U” shaped counter, the kitchen designed by Ricardo Abreu It is covered with materials ranging from linen, burnt cement, natural wood veneers and ceramic tiles.
In the architect’s project Beatriz Quinelataa kitchen-hallway has a “U” shaped bench and houses the sink and stove. Notice the white laminated MDF cabinet with half-moon handles.
The glass windows in the kitchen encourage direct contact with nature in Secretaria, a region in the Serra Fluminense. Architect Hana Lerner’s idea was to bring the mountain landscape to the interiors. And the result is exuberant!
