How reputation management together with ESG practices promote public engagement and sustainable results is the topic to be discussed in the first edition of Reputation Day, which will be on November 7th, at 9:30 am, with free live broadcast. The event, promoted by Knewin, will bring together professionals on the subject, promoting a lecture and a panel discussion. The objective is to highlight the importance of brand reputation management and how it helps to achieve superior business results.
The talk will be on “Reputation management and ESG in the connected world” with Suelma Rosa, Director of Reputation and Corporate Affairs Latin America and the Caribbean at Unilever. In addition, a panel discussion on the central topic will feature the participation of industry experts, including Matheus Lombardi, Partner and Head of Public Relations at XP Inc; Joanes Ribas, Sustainability Director at Vivo and Ana Domingues, Executive Director at Inpress Porter Novelli.
Brand reputation has become the central agenda of new corporate strategies. A Gartner study commissioned exclusively for Knewin shows that companies that achieve a strong commitment between their audiences and their brands will outperform others. The rise of ESG as a central pillar of business is no longer just a passing trend, it is a demand.
New generations of consumers, who are also becoming decision makers within companies, demand greater visibility into the origin, manufacturing methods, handling and transportation, social and environmental impact of the products they consume. In other words, a company’s reputation goes beyond media monitoring and opinion polls. It is necessary to consider all the pillars that support the company’s image. “By proactively identifying and addressing ESG-related threats, brands can reduce the risk of incidents and avoid crises,” argues Lucas Nazário, CEO of Knewin.
“Reputation management must be a proactive and actionable strategy, with a broad look at all the pillars that make up the corporate image. During Reputation Day we will talk regarding these pillars, which are nine in total, and we will show how each one directly influences reputation”, he concludes.
Therefore, in the 1st edition of Reputation Day, it will be discussed how reputation management and ESG are practices that go together in the strategies of CMOs of globally recognized brands. The event will also mark the launch of Knewin Reputation, an enterprise solution aimed at proactive and actionable reputation management.
