Alif International School’s Athletes Moz: A Grand Conclusion to Annual Sports Festival

RIYADH: Alif International School’s annual sports festival ‘Athletes Moz’ came to a grand conclusion. Around 1000 students participated in 70 competitions in Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta groups. Apart from Football, Cricket, Rope Pulling, Badminton and Khoko, there were many track and field competitions that were very exciting.

The students performed brilliantly in the competitions held in five categories. Delta, Beta and Gamma groups in the boys category and Alpha, Gamma and Beta groups in the girls category won first, second and third positions respectively in the three-day sports event.

Faizan (Beta)Fatima Liana(Delta) in kiddies category, Sharifa Kausar (Beta) in sub-junior category, Abdul Rehman (Delta) in junior category, Muhammad Fadil Luqman(Alpha) and Haya Rashid (Delta) in senior category became individual champions. Trophy for best football player Muhammad Shamil Syed Mahad also won the trophy for the best cricketer.

Alif Group of Schools Executive Director Lukhman Pazhoor presided over the distribution of trophies to the winners. He congratulated physical education teacher Shamzad and teacher Sophie Mahmood who led Athlytsmos. Managers Mohammad Al Qahtani, Munira Al Sahli, Principal Abdul Majeed, Ubayy Ali, Headmistress Hamidabanu, Headmaster Naushad Nalakat, Administrator Ali Bukhari attended the prize giving ceremony.
