The function of visualizing where your parked car in the app Maps (Maps) from Apple can be very useful for those times when you have parked your car in a shopping mall parking lot, supermarket or other place where there is an accumulation of vehicles.

The feature activates whenever you disconnect your iPhone from your car via Bluetooth or CarPlay. Therefore, check that they are working before leaving the vehicle. Check if Location Services is turned on. On your iPhone, open Settings and go to Privacy and Security » Location Services and check the first option, right at the top. On your iPhone, open Settings and go to Privacy and Security » Location Services » Maps. There, make sure the “Allow location access” option is set to “While Using the App” or “While Using the App or Widgets”. Check that the “Important Locations” option is activated in Settings » Privacy and Security » Location Services » System Services. You will need to authenticate via Touch ID or Face ID before entering this area. Still with Settings open, go to the “Maps” option, scroll to the end and check if the “Parking Location” option is turned on. Reset your location and privacy settings. On iPhone, open Settings, tap General » Transfer or Reset iPhone » Reset » Reset Location & Privacy. If you still face problems, try restoring your iPhone to factory settings.
