Dhe two young artists Tobias Witzmann and Robin Wunderbaldinger transformed the Eggenburg town hall into a concert hall with piano and flute.
Under the motto “The night in the day”, Tobias Witzmann and Robin Wunderbaldinger transformed the ballroom of the Eggenburg town hall into a concert hall for the piano matinee with transverse flute. With works from Debussy to Clara Schumann and Franz Liszt to Francis Poulenc, the two young artists gave insight into their skills. Witzmann and Wunderbaldinger virtuously dedicated themselves to the deeply intimate musical worlds of the greatest composers in music history.
The pieces “Beau Soir” by Debussy, “Soirées musicales op. 6. No. 2 Notturna” by Clara Schumann, “Sonata No. 10 in G major” by Ludwig van Beethoven, “Sérénade aux étoiles” by Cécile Chaminade, “ The Force Theme” by John Williams, “Lebenstraum No. 3” by Franz Liszt and “Sonate pur flûte et piano” by Francis Poulenc were characterized by the highest sensitivity and a moving theme. The performance of the excellent musicians invited concertgoers to immerse themselves in a world of sound in which dreams, tears and smiles are inseparable.
