Update 1.2.2: Rings of Evil and Season of Blood – Diablo IV

Update 1.2.2 will be deployed next week on Diablo IV. This adds 5 new Unique rings and brings some improvements for the Season of Blood. Find all the details in the full patch notes below.

Gameplay Updates

Evil Rings

Five new rings have been added, one for each class. They are inspired by the beloved powers of the Season of Mischief and are immediately available in the Seasonal and Eternal Realms.

Red Ring of Fury (unique barbarian ring) After spending 100 Fury over 3 sec, your next Hammer of the Ancients, Uprising, or Finishing Blow deals a guaranteed critical hit and 10–30% (multiplicative damage) [x] bonus critical damage.Tal Rasha’s Iridescent Ring (unique wizard or witch ring) For each type of elemental damage you deal, you gain 10–15%[x] additional damage for 4 sec. Dealing elemental damage resets all bonuses.Airidah’s Unwavering Will (unique ring for druid or druidess) When you trigger an ultimate skill and then do it once more 5 sec later, you attract opponents from a distance to you and inflict on them 0.5–1.0 physical damage. This damage increases by 1%[x] for each point of Willpower you have. Moving Ring of Deception (unique ring for thief or thief) When you cast a deception skill, you leave behind a trapped lure that taunts opponents and continually attracts them. This decoy explodes following 3 sec, dealing 2.0–3.0 Shadow damage. Can occur every 12 sec.Sacrilegious Soul Ring (unique ring for necromancers) Automatically activates the following equipped skills on nearby corpses: Skeleton Revive every 1-2 second(s).Ghoulish Explosion every 12 sec. 1-2 second(s). Scavenging tendrils every 8-16 seconds.

Blood Season

The following adjustments have been made for the Blood Assaults event:

Pillar health increased from 75% to 85%. Pillar repair time reduced from 3 seconds to 1 second.

Quests

Fixed several issues where the quest marker might disappear when leaving the area when multiple quests were in progress. Fixed an issue where Prava and his Knights might halt their progress during Caldeum Purging if Elites were killed from a distance during the quest “Slay the demons that attack from above”.

Gameplay

Fixed an issue where Lilith might still perform area of ​​effect attacks following being defeated following the first phase of Lilith’s Echo. Fixed an issue that prevented achievements linked to the Emissary of Hate bonus from triggering correctly. Various improvements to visual quality, fluidity and stability.
