The relationship between the Chicago White Sox and shortstop Tim Anderson just came to an end when the team decided not to activate the club option.
The Chicago White Sox declined the option on Tim Anderson’s contract, making the shortstop a free agent.
Anderson will receive a $1 million buyout following the White Sox decided not to keep him through 2024 at a $14 million salary.
