CNSS Report 2021-2022: Increase in Jobs and Salaries, SMEs Lead the Way

2023-11-04 14:02:24

Over the period 2017-2019, jobs declared to the CNSS experienced an average annual increase of 4.7%, specifies the OMTPME in the latest edition of its report covering the period 2021-2022.

This development results, in addition to the impacts of the economic situation, from the awareness-raising effort undertaken by this institution among companies to make their declarations in compliance with regulations.

Jobs occupied by SMEs represented 76.4% of the total declared workforce compared to 73.1% in 2021. This development is explained by the contribution of microenterprises whose share increased to 29.7%, following 23.3% in 2021.

Examination of salaries declared for 2022 shows that 75.8% of employees received remuneration not exceeding 4,000 dirhams and 44% received remuneration below the minimum wage. This last figure might be explained by the extent of temporary and part-time employment.
