Intensified Demand for Ceasefire in Gaza: World Countries Call for Action

World countries have intensified the demand for a temporary ceasefire in Gaza. A meeting of Arab foreign ministers held in Amman, Jordan asked countries including the US to intervene in this matter. Foreign ministers of Saudi, Qatar, UAE, Egypt and Jordan and representatives of Palestine attended the meeting.
Jordanian ruler King Abdullah II also met with foreign ministers who attended the coordination meeting. He demanded an immediate end to the Israeli carnage and declared a ceasefire. Abdullah II also warned that he will not accept Israel’s act of killing civilians.

Turkey has announced it is recalling its ambassador to Israel and cutting ties with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
