Ubisoft is preparing to turn the page on many games that have brought joy to players on PC and our Xbox 360. After more than 10 years of good and loyal service, the servers of many games, notably Assassin’s Creed, will close their services online. Here is the given list by the publisher of the games concerned:
Assassin’s Creed II – Xbox 360
Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD – Xbox 360
Assassin’s Creed Revelations – PC
Ghost Recon Future Soldier – PC
Heroes of Might and Magic VI – PC
NCIS – PC
R.U.S.E – PC
Splinter Cell: Conviction – Xbox 360
Trials Evolution – PC
One of the world’s largest manufacturers explains in a press release the reasons for this closure:
“Last year we published an article regarding decommissioning online services for some older games. Today we have an update for you, as some additional online services will be retired on multiple platforms on January 25, 2024.
Decommissioning these services for older games is not something we take lightly, but it is a necessity as the technology that drove these services has become obsolete. »
You only have a handful of days left to take advantage of the dedicated services, before their total closure from January 25.
