Etihad Airways has completed its International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety Audits (IOSA) for the tenth consecutive time without any observations. Etihad has maintained this ideal result since obtaining its first certificate in 2006, which strengthens Etihad Airways’ record of its commitment to safety standards in the sector.
These results demonstrate Etihad Airways’ commitment to maintaining the highest standards of operational safety and aircraft airworthiness to deliver a safe and reliable travel experience for its guests.
Mohammed Abdullah Al Bolooki, Chief Operating Officer at Etihad Airways, said: Safety is our top priority in everything we do. Etihad is proud of its employees for being able to maintain and adhere to such a record over the past seventeen years, and throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Which raises this achievement to a completely new level.
Earlier in September this year, the General Authority of Civil Aviation in the UAE recognized the effectiveness of Etihad Airways’ Safety Management System (SMS) and received the highest scores ever recorded at the state level, in praise of the safety standards followed by the carrier and its use of technology. Industry leaders, such as artificial intelligence, to enhance the safety of their operations.
