Luciano Castro came to Paraguay in the last hours to assume work commitments. The actor was invited to a morning magazine show on Unicanal to promote his work, but unfortunately he was the target of an awkward moment.

A few seconds following entering the set, he experienced a moment of tension with the hosts of the cycle. It all started when the presenter Dallys Ferreira, who worked and lived for a while in Argentina, welcomed the artist.

After greeting Dallys with a kiss on each cheekAs is customary in the neighboring country, Luciano wanted to greet Dora Ceria, another of the drivers of the cycle. But she walked away from her and with her index finger she touched his arm and said very excitedly: “It’s real, lady! It’s real!”. She then gave him the double kiss.

Both Ferreira and his companions laughed, but Castro did not. Realizing that they had made the guest uncomfortable, presenter Jorge Riveros told him: “Sorry, Luciano, for all this.”. However, the production continued with the joke and played “Careless Whisper” in the background, the George Michael song that is usually used to connote a sensual scenario.

When Dallys asked him if he was used to that type of praise, Luciano replied: “Unfortunately yes.” “Because? Don’t you like it?” the driver asked.

It doesn’t bother me, but if I do it the other way around I’ll have a lawsuit. If I told you ‘let’s see if it’s real…’, everyone would say ‘ehhh!’. And we are all prisoners. If you do it, it’s funny; If I do it I’ll go to prison. But nothing happens, let’s continue”, responded the actor.

Trying to move forward, Ferreira assured: “I like that you bring this topic here, because…”. But Castro did not let her finish and stated: “Because equality (between men and women) does not exist. Let’s not sell it like smoke. But it doesn’t matter, we came to something else…”.

The host wanted to pick up the gauntlet once once more to talk regarding harassment and inequality. And Luciano interrupted her once more. “You know because you were in Argentina a lot. “It doesn’t bother me because I feel ‘prostituted’ because of that, but rather the inequality bothers me.”.

“Ah, I love it,” Ferreira concluded and invited him to sit in the living room to start the interview.
