The Greek forward Giorgos Giakoumakis, from Atlanta United, was recognized this Thursday with the award for ‘Best Sign of the Year’ of the North American League (MLS), for which Lionel Messi was also a finalist.

Almada is part of the trio of finalists for the season’s MVP (Most Valuable Player) award along with fellow Argentinian Luciano Acosta (FC Cincinnati) and Gabonese Denis Bouanga (Los Angeles FC).
