The investigators behind the Matthew Perry case leaked new information that adds uncertainty to an already very confusing death. The Friends actor’s body was submerged in the jacuzzi of his house for a very short time.
According to what TMZ published, when doctors arrived to try to save Perry, not that much time had passed since the fatal outcome occurred.

What were Matthew Perry’s last hours like?
What investigators are trying to determine is the timeline of Perry’s last hours to be able to determine what might have happened to him, since the final results of the autopsy would only be a month and a half away.
Perry was alone when he died. By mid-morning, his assistant was aware that he had gone to play pickleball at the Riviera Country Club, an exclusive venue near his mansion.

Once he arrived home, the actor sent his employee to do something: it is during this period of time that death occurs inside the jacuzzi. Upon returning, the attendant called 911 and the doctors mightn’t do much more.
In Perry’s house they did not find any illegal drugs, but there was medication prescribed for the different disorders he suffered from: antidepressants, anxiolytics and a specific medication for COPD from which he had been suffering for a long time.
The TMZ article also added an unknown fact: the agents found nicotine patches, making it clear that Perry was trying to completely quit smoking due to the respiratory disorder he was suffering from.

In a statement they shared exclusively with People magazine, the Friends stars spoke regarding Perry’s death. “We are all absolutely devastated by the loss. We were more than just co-stars. “We are a family,” they summarized.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer agreed that “there is a lot to say,” but that the best thing for them is to take a break to “grieve” and “process” the sad news. “Over time we will say more, when we can,” they anticipated.
