Apple’s last event of 2023, “Scary fast” (translated in Brazil to “It will give you goosebumps”), was surprising for a few reasons. For the first time, it occurred at night (9pm Brasília time, to be more exact). It also appears to have been the shortest in history, at just 30 minutes long.
However, we had another unprecedented fact in a Maçã keynote — something that was only revealed to the public in its final seconds: the entire recording was made, you see, using a… iPhone 15 Pro Max!

As Apple made it very clear (albeit in small print), all shots with the presenters, locations and drone footage were taken using the company’s current top-of-the-line smartphone.
This year, as she already mentioned, the professional smartphone gained several cool features, such as support for recording videos in Log and the fact that it is the first phone compatible with ACES (Academy Color Encoding System), global color standard used in film productions.
One can imagine that extra equipment such as professional lights were used to give an (even) more professional touch to the recordings.
As the event itself was focused on computers, she also made it clear that all recordings were edited on a Mac. Although she did not specify which model it was, it is not difficult to imagine that she took advantage of all the technologies in the family of chips M3 for that.
