During the night from Saturday to Sunday shortly before midnight, a 32-year-old man staying illegally broke into the caravan of a fairground on Boulevard d’Avroy in Liège to steal clothes. He fled on foot and was chased by the showman. Arriving at the “La Belle Liégeoise” footbridge, the thirty-year-old took out a knife to threaten the showman who alerted the Liège police.
The police arrested the 30-year-old who still had the clothes in his possession. He was referred this Monday morning to the Liège public prosecutor’s office. The case was opened for investigation with a request for an arrest warrant. This thirty-year-old is already known for several simple thefts and burglaries.
