The POSCO labor union industrial action vote was passed. The union, which has been having difficulty reaching a collective bargaining agreement with the management, will be able to initiate industrial action such as a strike if negotiations fail at the final mediation meeting of the Central Labor Relations Commission scheduled for the 30th. The union said that if the mediation meeting breaks down, it will have the right to take industrial action, but it will not take place at the level of an immediate strike by all union members.

According to the POSCO union, the union held a vote for or once morest industrial action with 11,145 union members, and 10,756 people voted, with 8,367 (77.79%) in favor and 2,389 (22.21%) once morest.

It was proposed, but it fell through.

In an appeal issued in the name of Kim Seong-ho, chairman of the industrial action committee, the union said, “Even though there were numerous shares and assets accumulated during the boom, POSCO became a subsidiary and all of them were transferred to Holdings,” adding, “The union prepared systematic industrial action step by step, and the strike was the final step. “It is a means of .”
