Also in coordination with the Province, the redevelopment of the Polinesias neighborhood was carried out, a pending issue that gave dignity and quality of life to one of the most populous neighborhoods in the City.

A countless number of specific investments were developed in all the neighborhoods of the Villa. The paving and paving of streets, the improvement of road access and the investment in lighting were three of the many advances of the management.

The street improvement program It allowed the paving of 85 blocks in different neighborhoods to be carried out during the last 18 months. In addition, 11 blocks of cobblestones were covered on the Río de Janeiro Avenue collector, revitalizing a strategic commercial corridor in the area, and more than 10 blocks of cobblestones in other neighborhoods. Additionally, 600 m2 were paved in parking areas, 114 blocks of curbs were constructed, and we built more than 100 speed bumps at key intersections in the City.

Thus, it was negotiated with Caminos de las Sierras and the provincial government and the first section of the expansion of Padre Luchesse Avenue between the access roundregarding to Barrio Chacras and Route E53 was carried out, significantly improving circulation during peak hours. As a result of efforts by the Municipality and the decision of Governor Juan Schiaretti, it is planned that by the beginning of 2024, from Caminos de las Sierras, the extension of Av. Luchesse will be carried out in its entirety.

The lighting of streets and spaces in the city contributes significantly to improving safety conditions for residents and was also a management challenge. The investment was made through the Secretariats of Works and Public Services. A total of more than 2,000 new LED lights were installed on the city’s streets, which included the replacement of existing lights and the installation of new lighting points, covering a total of 500 blocks. Additionally, 25 public space lighting works were carried out in different neighborhoods.
