Istanbul: Israel’s Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said that they are recalling their diplomats from Turkey. The action comes following Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s remarks accusing Israel.

Erdogan criticized Israel while speaking at a pro-Palestinian rally attended by thousands in Istanbul.

Then the Israeli Foreign Minister recalled the Turkish diplomats. “In light of the accusations coming from Turkey, I have ordered the return of the diplomatic representatives there to reassess the relationship between Israel and Turkey,” Eli Cohen said on his X account.

Erdogan said the West was the ‘main culprit’ for the Israeli army’s massacre of Palestinians in Gaza.
The West weeps over the deaths of civilians in Ukraine. But Erdogan also accused them of turning a blind eye to the deaths of Palestinian citizens in Gaza. He added that Israel’s allies were creating a ‘crusading atmosphere’ pitting Christians once morest Muslims. He said that we are once morest this double standard and hypocrisy.

“I repeat that Hamas is not a terrorist organization. Israel is an occupying power. The main culprits behind the Gaza riots are the West.

Israel continues to openly commit war crimes for 22 consecutive days. Yet Western leaders cannot even ask Israel to cease firing. Israel is trying to wipe out the Palestinians. We will let the whole world know that Israel is a war criminal. We are making preparations for this. “Of course Israel will be declared a war criminal,” Erdogan said at a pro-Palestinian rally in Turkey.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also responded to the incident.
“Don’t accuse us of war crimes. “We are the most moral army in the world,” Netanyahu said.
