2023-10-29 23:21:55

In Senegal, these are the last weeks of activity for tourism stakeholders in the Lompoul desert, more than 150 kilometers north of Dakar, on the Atlantic coast. They must leave the site on October 31 before the passage of the mobile mine which extracts the zircon ore, exploited by Grande Côte Opérations, a mining company owned 90% by the French Eramet and the remaining 10% by the Senegalese state.
