Doha: The cruise season has started in Qatar. In the Bahamas, the luxury cruise ship Crystal Symphony was the first to call Doha’s shores this season. Crystal Symphony arrived in Qatar with 214 passengers. Qatar has given great importance to cruise tourism in the last few years.
This time, 81 ships are expected, eight of which are coming to Doha for the first time. Doha Port is located in the heart of Doha city. Visitors have very little time for sightseeing and shopping.
Qatar National Museum. Islamic Museum, Mishairib Downtown, Doha Corniche and Souq Waqif are all within walking distance. Last year, 2.73 lakh tourists arrived in Qatar via luxury cruises.
