A few months following his coronation at Roland-Garros, Novak Djokovic is back in Paris at the Bercy 2023 tournament.
It is, like every year in the calendar of the men’s tennis sporting season, the last Masters 1000 to be played. Direction Paris and the sports center of Bercy for the Rolex Paris Masters 2023 in the presence of the best players of the moment. For this edition, the organizer’s prize money is up 6.72% to 5,779,335 euros.
Rolex Paris Masters 2023 prize money increased by 6.7%
In detail, 169,610 euros are intended for the qualifying phase, 4,333,270 for the men’s singles event and 1,072,850 is reserved for the doubles. The missing remainder, i.e. 203,605 euros, is the contribution to the ATP, in particular for the players’ retirement. For the singles, all rounds see their bonuses increase in this Bercy 2023: from 6.7% for those beaten in the first main round, to the equivalence for the one who succeeds Holger Rune on the prize list; the Dane won the sum of 836,355 euros last season.
All rounds increase except for the winners of the doubles event
On the doubles side, here once more the financial envelope increases, with the exception of the winning pair who will see their bonus cut by almost 10,000 euros, to 282,960 euros per victory this year, to be shared between the two players. These financial bonuses are made possible both by the contribution of the 15 commercial partners of this Rolex Paris Masters 2023, the revenue generated at the ticket office (more or less 150,000 spectators over the duration of the tournament) and the TV broadcasters, numbering of 55 in total.
