As part of its specific participation in global and international days with the aim of achieving its goals in introducing its projects and strategic objectives, the Kayan Association for Orphans with Special Circumstances participated in the Mental Health Forum at King Saud University for Health Sciences, held on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, which includes lectures, workshops, and corners that contribute to enhancing Psychological health.
The association participated in an introductory corner with the success partner, Mind Academy for Healthcare. The corner witnessed a large number of visitors who praised what the association has provided to its orphans during its seven years of life, in the presence of the Executive Director of the Kayan Association, Mr. Riyad Al-Abdul Karim, and a large gathering of leaders and those interested in mental health. Psychologist Reem Fahd Al Balikhi from Kayan Association spoke regarding the “Quality of Life” project, which was launched at the beginning of the year 2023 AD, and it is a psychological, therapeutic and preventive project. On the other hand, with the aim of enhancing the psychological quality of life for orphans, a cooperation agreement was signed between the “Kyan” Association and the “MIND” Academy for Health Care, where the “Kyan” Association was represented by Mr. Riad Al-Abdul Karim, Executive Director, and the “MIND” Academy was represented by the Executive Director, Mr. Ahmed Al-Farir. In this regard, Mr. Riyad Al-Abdul Karim, Executive Director of Kayan Association for Orphans with Special Circumstances, said, “The Association is taking constructive steps in serving the association’s orphan children by providing development services and programs in accordance with integrated policies and procedures that include care for the sensory, moral, psychological, and material aspects. From this standpoint, the Association signed A cooperation agreement with the “Mind” Academy for Health Care with the aim of enhancing the mental health of its orphan children.
