CHICAGO (AP) — Alex Caruso hit a 3-pointer with 2.3 seconds left in overtime, and the Chicago Bulls beat the Toronto Raptors 104-103 on Friday.
Caruso got the difference-making basket, supplied by Zach LaVine, following a block on Pascal Siakam. He totaled 13 points, the same number of rebounds and two steals.
DeMar DeRozan scored 33 points, Coby White added 17 and the Bulls took a game of abrupt tumbles.
Chicago led by 19 points in the second quarter, lost by 11 in the third and tied at the end of that period.
Toronto went on a 14-2 run in the fourth inning to take a 19-point lead. However, the Bulls equalized thanks to DeRozan, who led the attack late in regulation.
Still, he missed three free throws in the final 13 seconds, including one that might have settled the game at the end.
