INCO Academy, Microsoft and Linkedin partner to train professionals in green technology

São Paulo, October 27, 2023 – With the aim of training a greater number of people in the development of sustainable digital solutions, INCO Academy, in partnership with Microsoft and Linkedin, opens free registration for the INCO Academy Green Digital Skills. Interested parties should access the website INCO Academy Green Digital Skills and fill out the form. The course starts on November 13th and will last five weeks. Classes will be taught in Portuguese.

The course aims to offer professional qualifications in environmental topics, preparing participants to generate a positive impact on society throughout their careers and increasing the chances of becoming sustainability-oriented professionals.

Green Digital Skills is divided into three main modules:

1) Fundamentals of Sustainability in Technology, where students must learn regarding the importance of climate change in the digital age, how digital technology affects the environment and society and the development of strategies to reduce the digital ecological footprint;

2) Principles and Practices of Sustainable Design, which focuses on discussing responsible digital design and how to measure the sustainability of digital products

3) Your Journey to Sustainable and Ecological Careers, which helps students understand the importance of green skills in their career development, presenting possible career paths in the field of green technology.

The project also has an elective module, in which students can choose between Carbon Accounting and AI, Sustainable Digital Marketing, Sustainable Designer and Sustainable Infrastructure. To close the journey, INCO Academy Green Digital Skills includes a capstone project, in which participants will apply their new sustainable skills to a real-world project to make it more sustainable.

The training is aimed at interested parties aged 16 and over, who have familiarity or previous training in technology and wish to work in areas related to sustainability and green technology.
