Erik ten Hag wants a greater connection between his attackers ahead of Sunday’s Manchester derby.
The Reds go into the meeting with City on the back of three consecutive victories in all competitions, although the five goals scored during these meetings have come exclusively from defenders and midfielders.
Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford have shown promise in recent weeks, but the manager believes something still needs to click as we look to get sharper following several failures, notably once morest Sheffield United and FC Copenhagen.

According to the Dutchman, this individual improvement will be accompanied by the team moving up a level or two, as we look to close the gap on our city rivals.

“We know we have to improve the team, so we have to make things happen, like I said in the question regarding Rashy.”
