2007 was a terrible year for Britney Spears. In her memoir “The Woman in Me,” Britney Spears said she suffered a panic attack before going out to sing “Gimme More” at the 2007 MTV VMAs because she didn’t feel ready to give a performance worthy of his talent and for meeting Justin Timberlake once more in the dressing room.

“It had been a long time since we last saw each other. In his world, everything was perfect. He was at the top of his career and had a lot of arrogance. I was having a panic attack. I hadn’t rehearsed enough. I hated the way I looked. “I knew everything was going to go wrong,” said the artist.

Britney was close to not showing up. The day before, she hadn’t slept. Her mental state was getting worse and worse, especially due to the problems that arose regarding her appearance on stage.

“Behind the scenes, nothing was going well. There was a problem with my outfit and my hair extensions. He hadn’t been able to sleep a wink the night before. I was dizzy. It had been less than a year since I had my second baby in two years, but everyone acted like not having abs was something very offensive,” she explained.

He added that “I mightn’t believe I had to go out on stage feeling the way I felt.” It wasn’t her best performance. They criticized everything, from his physical condition to the playback. While Justin was awarded, he was cheered, and he even got cozy with other women on his show.

Britney Spears released her memoir, titled “The Woman in Me,” on Tuesday, October 24 in the United States. In Spanish, the publication is called “The Woman I Am” and, in Mexico, it is available in bookstores and online since Thursday, October 26.
