Changsha, China (ots) – Trace the distant “childhood” of the Chinese people through the picture story. Recently, the third season of the documentary series “China”, broadcast on Hunan TV, Hunan Broadcasting System and Mango TV, has become a popular television program for young Chinese with its magnificent and subtle narrative, innovation and sophisticated production.
As the final work of the documentary series “China”, Season 3 of “China” goes from the source to explore the origins of Chinese civilization and decipher the genes of cultural heritage. From the myths and legends of PanGu’s world founding and the creation of man by NvWa to the archaeological historical materials such as the Erlitou civilization and bronze ware, from the prehistoric society full of stars to the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties in the greater area, with the emergence and developing etiquette as the main line, the unique place of Chinese civilization is enlightened so that the world can perceive what China is. After the documentary series aired, it received enthusiastic reactions from the audience. Related topics frequently appeared in hot searches on social platforms, spreading exposure up to 3 billion times and winning the first place in the Fusion Communication Index.
In order to better express the life of the forefather, the leading creative team carried out an avant-garde exploration of “Ideas + Art + Technology”. Due to the continued “Chinese-style aesthetics”, “China” adopted the new documentary image presentation method of “painting + CG” in the third season. With the support of a large number of researchable graphic materials, the characters and events that existed in ancient legends were depicted with brush. Using CG technology, nearly a thousand artistic paintings were in motion, giving flexible expression to all elements and depicting an imaginary space regarding ancient civilization.
In order to ensure the production of the content, the documentary team invited well-known historical and archaeological experts such as Wang Zijin, Xu Hong, Sha Wutian and Ruan Mingtao to strictly control relevant historical materials, facts and historical views throughout the entire process, the moderators Zhou Tao and He Jiong invited to participate in the dubbing, and selected outstanding young artists and painters in China to create a high-quality historical documentary series with awe. The documentary series was unanimously praised by historians and professional institutions such as Xu Zhuoyun, Yi Zhongtian, Chinese Academy of History, Liangzhu Museum, Xi’an Museum and the Erlitou Site Museum of Xia Capital. On the short video platform Douyin, where young Chinese people gathered, many bloggers spontaneously produced their videos of the second creation for “China”, and the popularity remained high. A single video posted by blogger “Xiaoxiang Lide” has been played more than 10 million times.
It is reported that the third season of “China” will officially end in early December.
