Rome (from our correspondent) – Stitched fans took a trip to Rome in the style of Julius Caesar. They created special Ave Slavia t-shirts, in which the head coach Jindřich Trpišovský and the captain Jan Bořil also dressed as part of the promotion.

They also wanted to have a big choreo. The Italians initially allowed it to them, several supporters from Tribuna Sever even went to the Stadio Olimpico a few weeks ago to measure the size of the sector. They were also supported by ultras AS Rome.

The fans worked on the choreo for long days, fulfilled the subsequent additional request and divided the choreography. Nevertheless, in the end a ban came from the Italian authorities, which Slavist supporters did not like. “According to local officials, he is mocking Julius Caesar and therefore will not allow him to enter his stadium,” Tribuna Sever wrote. And there was a reaction.

On Wednesday evening, an explanation of the situation and a call for all fans to boycott the match landed on Tribuny Sever’s social networks. This in itself might have caused great tension among the fans themselves, as the sector can fit almost four thousand of them. And not everyone would have to agree with this move.

Furthermore, a rally was called for Thursday followingnoon at the Coliseum, which was stopped by the Italian police, who considered the event illegal. She also threatened arrest. Slavia distanced itself from it and called on the fans to gather for the planned march in another place.

But several hundred fans arrived at the Coliseum at 4 p.m. Visitors to the famous Roman monument asked who it was, fans filmed it. The police monitored the situation, at around 5 p.m. the crowd came out, not for a long walk to the stadium, but for a shortened march to the prepared buses. The event went off without incident.

Tribuna Sever finally canceled the boycott of the match, all fans will go to the sector. “Given the importance of the match and the number of celebrants traveling for our club, we decided to enter the sector despite not allowing the choreography. By boycotting in front of the stadium, we would not be able to do anything in this absurdistan, we would only weaken our players in an important match,” reads a statement on Tribuny Sever’s Facebook page.
