If we heard little regarding it before, the vaccination campaign once morest HPV, the papillomavirus, is now on everyone’s lips. Initially reserved for 5th grade students, the City of Salon has decided to take measures to expand this system, which took effect at the beginning of October.

At the initiative of Ali Mofredj (elected delegate for Health and prevention and head of the intensive care unit at the Pays Salonais hospital, Editor’s note), and the medical community, we have decided to extend this system to all middle school students“, declared the mayor, Nicolas Isnard during the last municipal council. Obviously, both girls and boys are concerned.

Authorization given by the ARS (Regional health agency Editor’s note.) allows us to have care covered 100% by Health Insurance“, explained the city councilor.

The objective is to increase the number of vaccinated people to a greater proportion, without limiting it to 5th grade students.

Indeed, elected officials voted to extend vaccination to all 6th, 4th and 3rd grade students for all colleges in the city of Salon but also for those in the Salonais region.

Eyguières, Lambesc, Lançon

Thus, the colleges in the communes of Eyguières, Lambesc, Lançon-Provence, La Fare-les-Oliviers, Mallemort, Pélissanne and Saint-Chamas are concerned (excluding 5th grade).

The authorization of both parents remains mandatory and the vaccination center at Espace Charles Trenet provides two slots, on Wednesdays November 8 and 15. Slots may be added depending on the number of requests.
