German rapper Samra just gave a concert in Zurich. Now he has made an illegal stop – in the middle of the Uetliberg tunnel.
The rapper poses on Instagram in the tunnel in front of his Mercedes, which is parked sideways on the right-hand lane.
The cantonal police have started the investigation.

A fan commented on the picture: “Doing things like that on the highway in Switzerland is going to be expensive.”
The Zurich cantonal police are aware of the case and investigations are ongoing. The rapper wrote on his Instagram post: “I was on drugs for years and saw life through tunnel vision. But I am proof that there are great miracles in the ghetto.” At the end of the post, the 28-year-old added the hashtag “samratour2023”. On Tuesday he played a concert in Zurich. A performance in Stuttgart-Wangen follows on Thursday evening. He is one of the most successful rappers in Germany; his song “110” has already been heard 182 million times on Spotify.
Samra and his management have not yet responded to a media request. The Kapo said that she regularly looks for similar incidents on social media.
Similar case in Dietikon
There was a similar case in Dietikon two years ago. At that time, a 38-year-old Swiss man stopped in the middle of the Mutschellen tunnel. He received a fine of 300 francs for simply violating traffic rules. Another 1,300 francs were added for costs and fees. He had to hand over his driver’s license.
Will Samra face the same punishment or face additional trouble for getting out and posing? In the end, the investigating authority will decide on the punishment.
