The rollover of a truck on Tuesday night on Route 40, in the vicinity of Villa La Angostura, produced a partial cut. On Wednesday it remained traffic reduced to half the roadand will continue at least until this Thursday morning.
On Tuesday night, National Roads reported that there was a road accident at kilometer 2,122 of Route 40 and that the traffic was reduced to half a road.
They stated that it was truck of Chilean nationality that overturned regarding five kilometers from the mountain town, north access. The cargo transport was carrying food and it was requested to travel with caution in the area.
On Wednesday the truck continued at the scene and Traffic was partially interrupted. They request to travel with caution.
The arrival of a tow truck from the truck’s insurer is awaited, which might occur this Thursday. If this occurs, the vehicle will be removed and normal circulation will resume in that sector of the route.
