He was closely associated with the Trigonale from the beginning as an artist: the Italian harpsichordist and composer Guido Morini. Now he has written a commissioned work for the 20th anniversary of the Early Music Festival. As a partner for the premiere, Trigonale boss Stefan Schweiger wanted the Carinthian State Youth Choir, which is only two years younger than the festival itself: Founded in 2005, the State Youth Choir has long since made a good name for itself with around 50 members. The young singers, who come from all over Carinthia from the Lavanttal to the Lesachtal, meet four to five times a year for intensive rehearsals – and the results are impressive. In June, for example, the choir won the Grand Prix in the “Sound Waves Linz” competition and thus the “Anton Bruckner Choir Prize 2023”.
