Next Friday, November 3, at 10, an event will be held in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of La Plata to commemorate the fifty years of the graduation of doctors admitted between 1966 and 1968.
In that act, in a symbolic way, a professional oath will be taken.
It is planned that the national anthem will be sung at the event and a minute of silence will be observed in tribute to deceased teachers and colleagues. There will also be allusive speeches from the authorities of that university, and former teachers of the class: professors Roberto Castelletto and Alfredo Arturi, doctors who will speak on behalf of those who celebrate five decades with medicine this year, the organizers reported.
At the closing, a professional oath will be taken, symbolically, using the formula in force in that academic unit since 2018.
The organizers highlighted that it is the first time that a ceremony of this type has been held – fifty years of graduates – at the Faculty of Medicine of La Plata, open to students since 1934. As the culmination of the day, a lunch of camaraderie will be held. with the classmates of the class, who came from all over the country to celebrate the reunion.
