Vienna (OTS) – The ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna will play two concerts in November as part of the “Wien Modern” music festival: on November 3rd under conductor Roland Kluttig in Vienna’s St. Stephen’s Cathedral and on November 15th the concert “In memoriam Friedrich Cerha” under Bas Wiegers in the Musikverein Vienna . On November 24th, the ORF RSO Vienna will play under Markus Poschner at the Musikverein Wien, Ö1 will broadcast the concert live.
This plays on Friday, November 3rd (8:30 p.m.). ORF RSO Vienna under the direction of Roland Kluttig as part of “Wien Modern”. St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna. Mark Andres “rwh 1-4” is on the program. They sing Vienna Singing Academy and the Viennese choir girls. Joachim Haas is responsible for the sound direction. S1 will broadcast the concert recording on Tuesday, November 14th from 7:30 p.m.
The second concert of the ORF RSO Vienna as part of “Wien Modern” will take place on Wednesday, November 15th (7:30 p.m.) at Vienna Music Association instead of. Under conductor Bas Wiegers, the orchestra presents together with Vienna Sound Forum Friedrich Cerha’s “Fasce” and Rebecca Saunders’ “Wound.” The concert recording can be heard on Thursday, November 23rd from 7:30 p.m. on Ö1.
On Friday, November 24th (7:30 p.m.) presents the ORF RSO Vienna Under the direction of Markus Poschner, the 2nd Concerto for Violin and Orchestra by Georg Friedrich Haas and the 2nd version of Symphony No. 3 in D minor by Anton Bruckner.
