When it comes to the latest high-end graphics cards, the larger the memory capacity, the better. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 and RTX 4080, which are high-performance, also benefit from increased memory. Recently, there have been a series of leaks and rumors that the RTX 40 series super products are being relaunched. If the RTX 4070 Super and 4080 Super are released, the memory capacity of the current card may increase from 12GB to 16GB and from 16GB to 24GB, respectively. ⓒ PCWorld Videocars.com, a reliable media outlet, reported that the RTX 4080 Super will be a product just below the RTX 4090 with 24GB GDDR6 RAM specifications, citing several data points showing the performance improvement of the two cards. Other specification changes included the RTX 4070 Super’s memory bus increasing from 192 bits to 256 bits, and the RTX 4080 Super’s memory bus increasing from 256 bits to 320 bits. However, it will be released under the name Ti instead of Super, and although there is already a 4070 Ti, there is a possibility that it will be named RTX 4080 Ti. Increasing the memory capacity of the RTX 4080 might be an attractive move. However, assuming the new version sells for a similar or slightly higher price, AMD will still maintain its price advantage at a similar level. The RTX 50 series is not expected to be released until 2025, so both products will be released in the interim. It’s worth upgrading to a new product. Of course, the specific price and release date have not been announced yet. As the information has been leaked to the OEM, it is unlikely that it will be released in time for the holiday season, and it appears to be aimed at at least early next year. However, as there was a case of canceling the RTX 4080 12GB version last year, it seems that NVIDIA is still worried and it is cautious to say that the release has been [email protected]
