Ah school buses, this means of transport that delights little ones when they are used for school outings. These yellow metal monsters which transport young people to and from school have often been a source of daydreaming for children who needed them. Maybe you had a wonderful driver who made your trips even more exciting or maybe you had to deal with a boring driver who just turned on the radio and drove from point A to point B via the EFG and H points. regardless of the latter, many of you have probably already dreamed of taking his place.
Well, this new DLC for the game Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop, from Astragon Entertainment studio, allows you to make this dream come true. You can therefore swap the large luxurious buses in order to drive the good old orange-yellow bus equipped with a sign and lights that are too often ignored.
It will cost you around $20 to purchase it. In addition to being able to sit behind the wheel of the All American FR, All Amarican RE and also the Vision, you will have to drive your passengers to school following the new routes. In total, 8 school buildings scattered across the Angel Shores and Seaside Valley maps will be at your disposal. We must not forget the most important thing, NPC children will also be there, so you will have to pick them up at one of the bus stops.
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting anything when I acquired this DLC, however I had fun making the different journeys to take the children back to school. Visually the buses are rather pretty, certainly the environments are not always up to the standards of the buses, but the work done on the cars is very good. The view from the inside is similar to reality, when it rains you will see the rain running down the windshield, however when you use the windshield wipers the effect is a little less realistic. As for the handling, it is rather faithful to reality, however, the collisions and the lack of work in terms of the environments can mar the experience of certain players.
In conclusion, the ”School Bus” addition is quite successful and it will allow you to add a good 6 hours to the original title. I personally had fun playing it, even if on occasion I put the children’s lives in danger, not to mention the damage caused to the multiple vehicles that crisscross the streets. Additionally, if you have the chance to use a steering wheel, your experience will be more complete. In short, if you like vehicle simulation games, this addition will please you.
