Batches of milk bottles are being recalled due to an organoleptic defect reported by consumers.
Several batches of milk bottles from different brands are subject to a recall procedure due to an “organoleptic defect”, i.e. bad taste and/or bad smell, following reports made by consumers, alerts the Consumption Reminder site.
These are bottles of whole, semi-skimmed or skimmed milk with a capacity of 1 liter or 1.5 liters, to be stored at room temperature and sold in packs of 4, 6, 8 or 10 bottles, under the brands Candia MaxiPack, GrandLait, GrandLait Full Flavor, Silhouette and Viva.
This concerns products with barcode 3533630905751, 3533631679576, 3176571664006, 3176571673008, 3533631572006, 3533631574000, 3176571645005, 3176 571646002, 3533631572006, 3533631469528, 3533631572006, 3533630098477, 3176571639004, 3176571640000, 3176571955005, 3533630 098538, 3176571955005 or 3176571959003 and whose date of Minimum sustainability is set between November 21, 2023 and May 17, 2024.
Do not consume milk
These products were marketed throughout France by Auchan, Intermarché, Francap, Leclerc, Carrefour, Système U, Provera, Métro, Casino, Vival, Spar, Monoprix, Proxy and Maximo.
Consumers who have one of these products are invited not to consume it, then return it to the point of sale to obtain compensation in the form of a reduction voucher or destroy it.
