“Raid with negative result, the place is clean,” The Federal Police warned the federal court in Lomas de Zamora last night following the raid on the luxurious mansion of Martin Insaurraldeformer Chief of Staff of Buenos Aires, in the Fincas de San Vicente neighborhood.
During the procedure, as he learned Infobaethe Police kidnapped just a few pendrives, some electronic devices that would have no value for the cause, and regarding 80 thousand pesos.
The mansion is located on two lots of 3000 m2 and would pay more than 200 thousand pesos of expenses for each piece of land. Insaurralde was denounced following his scandalous trip to Marbella with the model Sofia Clerici and is currently charged with money laundering and illicit enrichment although other crimes might be added as the investigation progresses. In fact, the former vice president of the UIF, Maria Eugenia Talericodenounced him last week for the decrees he signed while he was traveling, between September 15 and 21.
According to that presentation, Insaurralde I should have asked for a license, which would have activated the substitution mechanism for his signature. For this reason, Talerico accused him of the crimes of failure to comply with the duties of a public official and ideological falsification of a public document.
A few hours later, Talerico expanded on that complaint and asked that Governor Axel Kicillof be investigated, who publicly said that he did not know regarding his chief of staff’s trip. “We cannot rule out the participation of the Governor in the instrumental falsehood to the extent that the lack of knowledge of the absence of Insaurralde of the Argentine Republic or, where appropriate, the failure to comply with the rules imposed in accordance with Decree 11/2020 is not credible,” that complaint stands out.
