ÖAMTC assists with organization, administrative processing, security issues and mobility information

Vienna (OTS) For the first time, a round of the World Rally Championship (WRC) will take place in the border triangle of Austria, the Czech Republic and Germany from October 26th to 29th, 2023. The new Central European Rally (CER) is part of an exclusive series of rallies that also includes the Monte Carlo, Safari and Acropolis Rally. This unique, sustainable and unifying event was made possible by a collaboration between ADAC eV, Autoklub České Republiky (ACCR) and the Austrian Motorsport Federation (AMF).

The Austrian part of the Central European Rally covers three routes in Upper Austria, each of which is covered twice. On Saturday (October 28th) these are the special stages (WP) “Schärdinger Innviertel” and “Mühltal”, on Sunday (October 29th) the special stages “Böhmerwald” with start in the town center of Julbach. With a length of almost 28 kilometers, the Mühltal stage is considered the “king stage” of the entire rally. The largest fan zone in Austria is also set up in the finish area of the WP, in Peilstein in the Mühlviertel.

Fan zones, arrival, tickets

A total of 15 fan zones have been set up along the local special stages – with restaurants, sanitary facilities, video walls, track announcers and merchandising stands. Parking is available at all fan zones. If these are further away, shuttle buses and taxis transport visitors to the viewing point. In any case, an earlier arrival is recommended in order to be there on time for the start of the special stages.

Weekend and day tickets can only be ordered in advance online at centraleuropeanrally.eu up to and including Tuesday (October 24th). Tickets for individual special stages are then available at the fan zone box offices. Children up to 16 years old can watch for free when accompanied by an adult.
