Ongoing through December – Metro is doing C (Green) Line overhead wire construction through December. Riders will experience delays where trains are operating on a single track west of LAX. Details at The Source.Monday 10/23 – Metrolink has new schedules, including greatly increased service on the Antelope Valley Line – with stops in Glendale, Burbank, Van Nuys, Sylmar, Newhall, Santa Clarita, Palmdale and Lancaster. More information at SBLA coverage of new Vista Canyon Station.Starting Tuesday 10/24 – Metro is hosting a series of four meetings with updates on several projects – including Sepulveda Transit, Congestion Pricing, and 405 Freeway Express Lanes. Tuesday’s in-person meeting will take place from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Westwood United Methodist Church at 10497 Wilshire Boulevard.Wednesday 10/25 – Metro will host a 12-1 p.m. virtual community meeting with updates for several downtown L.A. projects: Regional Connector, Eastside Access (includes those missing Little Tokyo bike lanes), Division 20 turnback tracks, and Metro Center. Sunday 10/29: Walk, Bike, Run, Skate on the 110 Freeway at 626 Golden Streets Arroyo Festpresented by Metro. Note that the event starts at 7 a.m. – SEVEN A.M.! The 110 Freeway segment is only open from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a South Pasadena street closure continuing until 2 p.m. The free family-friendly open streets event is easy to access via Metro.
