Diablo 4 continues its evolution in complete serenity, but certain changes have particularly attracted the attention of players, pushing the studio to speak officially on this subject.

Diablo 4, the renowned action role-playing game, has just launched its second season. This is an opportunity for players to discover new content, but also to notice changes that do not go unnoticed. But what is it precisely?

Diablo 4 changes its loot system for season 2

For this season 2, Diablo 4 has revised its loot system, making it particularly generous in rare items. Players are even wondering if this is not a bug or an exploit. However, Blizzard assures that all this is completely voluntary. Blood Harvests, new this season, are an improved version of Helltides, temporary events that take over part of the map. Much like the Helltides, the Blood Harvests are populated by demons dropping special currency, which can be used to open chests in search of treasure.

In the center of these areas you will find a skull icon on your map, indicating the time remaining for the event. This is also where there are three “Blood Lure Pedestals” that you can activate using Blood Lures, items dropped by enemies in the area. Each pedestal requires 50 Blood Lures to activate, and any which player present in the area can participate in this activation. Tyler Colp, journalist at PC Gamer, even made a video to illustrate these remarks (video link sur Imgur).
